If a call claiming to be Discover surprises you
A bank won't ask for your full card number, PIN or the one-time code it sent you. If you get a call about fraud, hang up and call the number on your card. Read the guide on bank fraud alert calls.
Scammers can fake caller ID, so a call that shows this number may still not be from Discover. Discover may also call you from numbers that aren't listed here. If you didn't expect the call, hang up and call back on a number you trust.
